- We use a few cookies to make the site work, see which pages help, and measure our ads.
- In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies only load after you accept them. Elsewhere they’re on by default, and you can switch them off.
- You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer or the cookie icon in the corner of the page.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar tools, such as tracking pixels and your browser’s local and session storage. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them. This policy covers swixy.ai only. It doesn’t cover the chat launcher Swixy places on stores’ websites; each store’s own cookie notice covers that.
Where we ask first
We work out your country from your connection when the page loads. We don’t store it.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: we show a cookie banner, and analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them.
- Everywhere else, including Australia and the United States: analytics and advertising cookies are on by default. You can switch them off at any time in Cookie settings.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies, wherever you are.
Until you accept analytics or advertising cookies, Google’s tags may still send limited signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed. These don’t identify you or your browser. They help Google estimate visits and ad results in aggregate.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and secure, so they can’t be switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
stcm.* | swixy.ai | Local storage. Remembers your cookie choices | Until you clear your browser data |
swx_attr | swixy.ai | Session storage. Remembers which ad or link you arrived from, so we can attach it to your early-access form | Until you close the tab |
| Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checks that the early-access form is being sent by a person, not a bot. It reads browser signals when you submit the form and doesn’t set advertising cookies | Not stored |
Analytics
These tell us how people use the site, so we can improve it.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages people use | Up to 2 years |
Advertising
These measure which ads bring people to the site and let us show our ads to people who’ve visited.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Measures conversions from Meta ads and builds ad audiences | 90 days |
lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime, multiFbc | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Local storage. Records the site and ad click you arrived from, for Meta’s conversion measurement | Until you clear your browser data |
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures conversions from Google ads, when we run them | 90 days |
When you send the early-access form and you’ve allowed advertising cookies, we also tell Meta directly from our server that a sign-up happened, so it can count it once even if your browser blocks its pixel. We send your email address and name in a scrambled (hashed) form that Meta uses only to match the sign-up to an ad. See our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Use the cookie banner, “Cookie settings” in the footer, or the cookie icon in the corner of the page to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, like the form, from working.
- To opt out of personalised ads, use Google’s ad settings and Meta’s ad preferences.
Changes and contact
We’ll update this policy when the tools we use change, and update the date at the top. Questions? Email privacy@swixy.ai. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
